Tickets
Can I change the name on a ticket?
Yes, until 30 October. Open the link in your confirmation email and edit the name. After 30 October, come to registration with the original confirmation and we will change it there.
Do you offer refunds?
Full refund until 21 September. Fifty percent until 21 October. No refunds after that, but you can transfer the ticket to anyone until 30 October.
Is there a student or reduced price?
No. We keep one price per tier for everyone. The early bird tier is the reduced price and it is open to all.
Venue
Where is the venue and how do I get there?
Fundição do Cais, Rua do Cais 00, Lisbon, by the river. Five minutes on foot from the nearest metro station. See the Venue page for airport and taxi directions.
Is the venue accessible?
Step-free entrance, lifts to every level, accessible toilets on both floors, reserved seating at the front of both rooms, and a quiet room. Email hello@orbena.example before the event and we will arrange anything else.
Is food included?
Lunch and coffee both days, included in every ticket. Vegetarian and vegan options at every station. Dietary needs from your ticket form are on a card at the counter.
Speaking
How do I propose a talk?
Use the form on the Speak page before 30 September. Title, 60-word abstract, one paragraph on you. We reply to every proposal by 10 October.
What do speakers get?
A ticket, travel within Europe, two nights of accommodation, a rehearsal slot on stage the day before, and a practice call if it is your first talk.
